How to Play
Master Patches in minutes
Objective
Cover every cell of a 6×6 grid by drawing rectangles (patches) around clue cells. Each clue tells you the size and shape constraint of its patch. When all 36 cells are covered — with no overlaps — you win!
Step by Step
- 1Read the clue. Each clue cell shows a shape icon and a number. The number is how many cells the patch must cover. The icon tells you the shape constraint.
- 2Draw a patch. Click/tap and drag on the grid to draw a rectangle that includes the clue cell.
- 3Check the rules. The rectangle must contain exactly one clue, match area and shape, and not overlap existing patches.
- 4Fill the grid. Continue until all cells are covered!
